1974 : Benelux Analytical Instruments
"Benelux Analytical Instruments" (BAI) in Vilvoorde was founded in 1974 as Berthold's Belgian subsidiary. BAI included sales, service and customer support for radiation protection, bioanalytical and process control. It also developed and manufactured complex radiation protection instruments, which are still the basis for some of the instruments Berthold Technologies produces today.

1993 : EG&G Berthold (Belgium)
After the take-over of EG&G in 1989, both Berthold and BAI became members of this international organisation. "Benelux Analytical Instruments" went on in 1993 as "EG&G Berthold (Belgium)".

1999 : PerkinElmer Belgium
At the changing of the name from "EG&G Berthold (Belgium)" into "PerkinElmer Belgium", the company had already reorganised it's activities. The representation of the bioanalytical business unit by an affiliate of PerkinElmer was one of them.

2001 : Berthold Technologies Belgium
At the beginning of 2001 "PerkinElmer Belgium" was acquired by Berthold Technologies GmbH & Co. KG and Berthold Technologies Verwaltungs GmbH. Our firm is now called Berthold Technologies Belgium representing 3 business units :
